This 1 hour class for adults is centered around Sambo and Combat Wrestling. Sambo is done with a Red or Blue Sambo uniform called a 'Kurtka'. It is very similar to a Judo or Jiujitsu Gi. Training involves Throws, Takedowns, Hold Downs, and a variety of Submission moves (Armlocks, Leglocks, Chokes). Combat Wrestling is a sport with a similar ruleset to Sambo, but is done without the Jacket/Gi. Unlike other Martial Arts Styles, there are no belt ranks in Sambo. Our program has been tested in competition around the world over the last 20 years, developing National and International Medalists and Champions in Sport Sambo, Combat Sambo, and Combat Wrestling. Our program is for everyone, whether you are interested in competing, learning to fight and defend yourself, hobbyist, or just interested in being part of a very small but strong brotherhood of 'Sambists' in the USA.

Required equipment for Class:

1. Register and purchase a membership. Sign Waiver.

2. Either a Sambo Jacket, Judo or Jiujitsu Gi/Uniform, you may attend class until you get one.

3. Rashguard or tshirt and board shorts or equivalent, with spandex/compression shorts underneath. 

4. Water bottle recommended.
